It is said that a journey of a thousand miles starts with just one footstep.  In the Flyball World, this journey starts with each clean run and slowly you gain momentum in gathering speed to reaching the milestones of FD/FDX/ Champion/Grand Champion and finally that of the 1 500 Flyball points (the title of which will be named after the first dog that officially reaches this status).  It is with much enthusiasm, that we announce that the first Dog in South Africa to reach the milestone of 1500 Flyball points is Giftnell Th One and Only known as Keagan

Keagan joined his fledgling Flyball team, Mach4, in 2006 and quickly became known for his enthusiasm and love of the sport.  Together with his handlers, team-mates and many supporters, his quest to become the first dog to achieve 1 500 points for Flyball in South Africa and have the title named after him, saw his entourage travel the country far and wide.  His owners, Lynda and Lesley, would like to extend their appreciation to all the Flyballers countrywide, in particular the Gauteng Flyball Teams, for their constant support and motivation over the years!  To Onel Orsmond of Giftnell Kennels, a special congratulations to your Kennel for this achievement.
